Pavilion

The design of this pavilion is a contemporary reference to the elements of Riga's architectural language. It is romantic in nature - like a typical pavilion in a city park. It is made in the form of a tower, but does not refer to any specific building in the Old Town, but rather interprets a tower of a certain character as an iconic element of the medieval city. This pavilion is like a collage of various architectural references of Riga, reflecting the image of the eclectic city in all its diversity.
It's like a meeting place or a stop on the way, where you can sit and chat while watching the hustle and bustle of Old Riga and enjoying an iced caramel macchiato.

• The pavilion was realized as a temporary installation for use during summer, commissioned by the Riga municipality.
